Idea:

Turn the 2022 NYT Food Festival, which was back for the first time since the pandemic, into a can’t-miss in-person event. That meant imbuing every communication with a sense of fun, that’s not always characteristic of the award-winning and prestigious New York Times. We developed a series of pre-event social, emails embedded with personality, riveting interview questions (what’s your favorite garnish?), and post-event social that captured the energy of the day.

The New York Times Food Festival

results:

Through our approach, we met our goal with 43% of ticket purchasers under 30 and social impressions for the Festival rising 6x year over year from 2019.

notes:

I pitched Eric Wareheim making a Champagne toast, I mean pét-nat, but there wasn't enough time to shoot it.

RolE:

Ideated ways for promoting the Festival with the use of native tools on social, wrote and developed paid and organic posts, came up with interview questions for capturing event content.
